Comment: This is more of a thrift store. You can find good items, but need patients. Be advised CASH ONLY!!!! mad house inside but very much fun of your into good buys. Small parking lot hardly any spaces available. They close at 6pm.

Comment: I love this place... let me start off by saying that this is probably the largest thrift store in in all of San Fernando Valley. Ive been coming here for years. I have found many interesting and pretty cool and gnarly stuff over the years. The staff here is pretty chill. During this covid-19. All ordinances have to be observed. Please make sure you mask up and stay six feet apart. Parking can get a little bit. And sometimes very annoying to find a parking. One thing I find disappointing is that they stop selling VHS tapes. Some of the VHS tapes that are found here were pretty rare and hard to find out of print movies. The prices over the last 10 years have gone up. I believe that they actually check the prices before the listing for sale here at the thrift store. They are aware that there is many many resellers to come to this thrift store. Nevertheless you can still make a few bucks if you are diligent and know exactly what you are looking for. I recognize many familiar faces that come here over the years. And they have most likely made a living out of doing this. I got to say that a lot of things have changed in the last 10 years that Ive been coming. But overall people could still keep coming and this place is always busy. My recommendation for people that want to visit the Valley Value Center is to be courteous to everyone. And to bring plenty of cash. The cashier register do not take any debit or credit cards or checks or cash on deliveries. The cashier registers only take American dollars 😊. However, if you run short on money there is an ATM machine. The ATM machine charges $2.50 for retrieving any of your cash. The restrooms are kept clean for the most part. And at least they are open to the public during the pandemic. Dequeen him periodically and sanitized. Over all I got to say that I give this place a 7 out of 10. Would have been higher but the prices have gone incrementally higher over the years. Thank you for all this hard work to the staff. Thank you better be 200 words if it. Furthermore, I want to add that sometimes people here can be very rude. You just have to hold you with about you and know that youre there for your own personal business. Do not let other rude customers get on your nerve. I would like to add, that this used to be a circus CD back in the 90s and early 2000s. This is why the building in the entrance is red in the front. Thats the way most circus cities used to look like back in the day. Unbelievably enough, I remember buying a stereo for my vehicle back in 1996 here at the circus City. But I digress. Another thing that I find interesting, is the fact that not everything is overpriced. If you take out the paintings. Some of them can be worth up to thousands of dollars. There is no way for them to verify if they are genuine authentic or even a Master Piece that is worth tens of thousands of dollars. There is also a lot of name-brand clothes. However, those can be over prized at times. Maybe even close to retail price. But if you have patience you can come on the half off days. And you can probably get a good deal. You can also get lots of toys here that are bagged to buy as wholesale lots. Theres also very expensive shoes. Womens heels. Workout shoes. In a lot of backpacks and bags. I seen a lot of women buy designer bags here that can be worth up to hundreds of dollars. You just have to know what youre looking for to make sure that they are genuine and authentic. Dont buy the knockoffs. But you would have to have good knowledge as far as which ones are within pick.
