There is a lot of deeply discounted, “brand used” clothing, and new without tags items. Be aware of the replica Nike jackets… The logos are decent, but the interior tags are a joke and can pass for personal use only!Planning your trip:This store is very popular from the minute it opens until the late afternoon. Comment: One of the best thrift stores in north county when it comes to selection and sales. Their clothing and accessories selection is particularly strong, with different colored price tags going on sale each day.The two main downsides though is their cash only policy and the fact that when it comes to electronics and some furniture items, they dont seem to understand what their value really is and often over price them. Just as an example, I often find very outdated computers or even just a gutted PC tower, selling for $30-$100. But when it comes to clothing, housewares and trinkets, their prices are very good.The main downside of the cash only policy is that it leads to very long checkout lines or if you forget cash you gotta run to your car and hopefully find some.But overall, great store, great selection, just dont go there looking for electronics and be prepared to spend about 15-20 minutes waiting in the checkout line

Comment: This place is a thrift store staple in Escondido. If you enjoy digging through racks and racks of clothes this is the place for you. Along the perimeter of the inside you will find home decor, furniture, and electronics. Wednesdays and Saturdays are always very busy because they are sale days. Expect long long lines! Prices are okay for a thrift store. Sometimes items are priced too high in my opinion, especially for used items and clothes but that is a personal preference. Definitely check this local spot out!

Would be buyers eagerly line up to comb through many kinds of items. Clothing is a favorite. My wife bought a brand new Polo sweater with the tags still on it for 10 dollars. Sometimes this thrift store is crowded, so much so that parking is a problem. We try to go in the weekday mornings.

Comment: NOTE: CASH ONLY! After moving to California over a year ago, I was on a hunt for a decent thrift store which are surprisingly hard to come by out here. Finally, I visited Valley Thrift and it did not disappoint. Awesome organization, a HUGE selection of items, and well staffed. They had tons of clothes for the whole family and awesome brands. Also more furniture than expected!4/5 stars for a couple reasons. Cash only is one. I mean, it’s 2020. At least accept debit. They do have an ATM in the store so that saved me. Second, I came on a Saturday and it was a zoo, which was fine except the lines to check out were wrapped through many of the clothes aisles, which made it hard to shop in entire aisles in the store. Has to be a better layout they can work on. Third, a large handful of items were very overpriced ($10 for a plain used banana republic t shirt?). But plenty of other reasonable items made it worth it. Lastly, their half off sale on Saturday’s doesn’t include red tags. Well, problem is more than half the store is red tags but it’s hard to tell why. It’s not only nicer items with red tags. Seemed random. Remove some of their reds for other color tags and the sale would be a real home run.Still, hands down the best thrift store in NorCo. I will be BACK!

They have increased the number of parking spaces so finding a a place to park shouldnt be a problem. I always find more than I need there so try to avoid going! Comment: I have shopped in many thrift shops in San Diego and this is by leaps and bounds the best one. Size, price, variety, change in stock is the best. Clothing is used or new, brand names or no names. Cash only. You dont have to bring your own plastic bags. They even have bathrooms but its in the back and it is closed around 11am for cleaning daily. Parking can get quite crowded so come early. Their tag sales are a great deal but sometimes it seems like they change the tags to different colors at night. Even without the tag sales I shop there once a week for anything. Clothes, textbooks, shoes, toys, kids books, paintings, frames, furniture, arts and crafts items, electronics, luggage, housewares, etc. Long lines if there is a huge sale but worth the wait. During the weekday mornings my line wait is max 5-7 people but there are usually 5 cashiers. Also, they have an atm in there. But always bring cash before going in. Plan to spend at least an hour there. If its your first time, maybe more time. You will be fascinated at the branda you will find if you are willing to dig through the racks.

Comment: Love this store! Bargains galore and yoghurt organize clothing by color and season so finding your treasure is easy. Go early in the morning before 11 am to avoid croud. They open at 9 am.

Comment: CASH ONLY. WOW!! This place is incredible! Was suggested to pass by this place from staff at Pho Lee after eating lunch there.Tons of everything!! From pursues, clothes to random accessories. Great place to also find brand new gifts with tags and such. Im looking forward to coming back.Apparently weekends are when there are sales. We came on a Saturday where anything color tag but white was 50% off!!! Pretty awesome.

Comment: They have a lot of everything, including toys. But they only take cash so be prepared. They have 1/2 off certain tag colors on most days and they always have big crowds so its good to go during non peak shopping times.

Comment: Love going to this thrift shop. I get exercise while walking around, and as a collector, find great stuff. Unfortunately, sometimes prices are ridiculously high for items, when it is supposed to be a thrift shop; at times more than the item is worth. Yet other times, you do find awesome bargains, which youll love. You just have to really look for these bargains, because there is a lot of competition. Staff is nice when you are polite, but other customers tend to be rude and sometimes even agressive, so keep an eye for your stuff. People will snatch your items from the cart if you are not watching. Check your items well before buying, there are no returns. This is a cash only store, so be prepared. However, there is an ATM inside.

Comment: Great value and great deals! Only issue is that they dont test the electronics and only accept cash, but its well worth it. It gets really busy on weekends, and there can be super long lines to pay for items.

Comment: Pros- Big store so GREAT variety of items- Constant turnover of items. I usually shop the DVDs and they have a good variety week in and week out- The store is as organized as it can be. When it gets busy, its not as good but the layout is very strong and consistent.- The prices are reasonable and it doesnt seem like theyre trying to get you like they do at Goodwill.Cons- Lines. Be careful coming on a Friday or on the weekend. The lines can get REALLY long.- Staff is okay, including the cashiers. Some can be rude, unfriendly and very cold.- Occasionally youll run into the kill or be killed shopper which will get REALLY annoying- CASH ONLY. They have an ATM there but it still sucks having to pay the fees.Overall, I like coming here because its a great bargain. Ive probably spent over $200 here buying all sorts of random stuff. You never know what theyll have which is why I keep coming back. But pick the days in which you come because it can get pretty intense on the bad days.

Comment: This is the most amazing thrift shop. They have great deals for hardly used items. A large variety of books, DVDs, electronics and a myriad of clothing of all sizes. It will get super crowded on Wednesdays and Saturdays because they have 50% off sales those days. Great prices. Totally worth the trip.

Comment: This is my favorite thrift store in San Diego county. It has a huge selection and generally some pretty great deals in comparison with other thrift stores in the area. Its like the super store of thrift shops and Escondido is lucky to have it. I havent run into any other stores like it in my travels. Like the unhidden gem that it is, its almost always crowded no matter what time of day, so be prepared to share your personal space with other people who had the same idea as you.Its important to note that this place is cash only. There is an ATM in store with a fee of a few dollars to use, so if you want to avoid the fee then come prepared with cash.

Comment: I usually just go to this thrift store because it has a lot of random things. If your a marine, like myself, it would be hoov of you to take a look at the clothing section for certain items and make sure you have you DOD ID.
