Comment: My absolute favorite thrift store on the Peninsula, been coming regularly for almost two decades and have found amazing treasures over the years. I now do a lot of upcycling projects so I get a lot of materials from here, including things like old cotton sheets and linens (which a lot of thrift stores dont even carry anymore). Staff is super nice even on sale weekends when the place is bumping, so please be patient and polite with them!

Comment: This place isn’t always great for accepting donations but that’s because they have a packed selection already. They always have new stuff to browse and lots of quality items for a good deal. We got some beautiful expensive glassware as a housewarming gift for some friends for ~$20.

Comment: Friendly staff, decent collection, some days are better than other but gotta do that treasure hunting. Some days even got half off certain color-tags or items, bingo!The parking sometimes can be annoying but not the store’s fault, just stupid drivers.I shop and donate here quite often, gotta reuse-reduce-recycle !

Comment: This isn’t the place to go to if you’re looking for hidden antique/ vintage curio cabinet gems, or vintage glass. I walked in, did my first pass through and pretty much walked right on out. Was bummed because I was excited to find such a large building thrift store.However, What you can find there is your everyday clothing and they seemed to have decent toys section ( one isle with both side well stocked). I didn’t check out those rows, but there were a lot of people doing so.Sometimes a place doesn’t have what I need, but serves a community of people who go there to find their family’s clothing and other goods.

Comment: This is a Great Thrift Store!!! Tuesday mornings before 1:00 pm is the best time to shop here, all clothes are 50 percent off. The clothes usually appear to have been worn less than half a dozen times. The staff is very nice! Ive even run into my doctor here. The one downside is the parking lot -- it would be so much better and safer if one could access parking from Laurel Street instead of Brittan Avenue.

Comment: Overall decent experience. Theres so much stuff in there that is never going to be bought. Some things are priced great and some are overpriced. Dont go there expecting to find something fast. There is no organization of sizes --just type of garment and color. Can use credit card over $5.

Comment: I shop there all the time for kids toys and books. Their prices are much more reasonable although their section is smaller. They often carry quality toys and games, that is unless the kids havent gotten to them first. As far as the clothes go, I like that they have all the clothes separated by color, unfortunately they are not separated by size, which can be very frustrating. But overall, its a great place to shop.

I often see the pros doing this to pick up the name brand clothes early. Discounts often Sat AM and on Tuesdays. Caveat: I still cant figure out who owns this place...dont think its tied to a non-profit as far as I can tell.

Comment: When I worked as a behavioral therapist, my supervisor suggested that I visit Thrift Center Thrift Store for new toys or board games. I visited when everything was 50% off and found some great deals. Most of the toys and board games are still in new condition. I bought 4 items for less than $17. The cashiers were quick and friendly. Parking is limited, but you can make it work if you are patient.

And it didnt even smell like that usual gross thrift store smell!Tons of furniture! I got a nice, clean black coffee table and two bar stools. Nothing to funky or old, just good, simple furniture. The staff was SUPER helpful and nice.Didnt spend much time looking through the clothes, but they had a good selection from the looks of it. Saw some nice IKEA bowls on a shelf as well!When I walked in it looked like the line was super long, but it went through super quick. When I came back the second time, the line wasnt nearly as long anyways. They have a line for cash only so that is a great way to get in and out real quick.
