Comment: Our experiences have been very nice, sometimes its just not the price I want to pay. So thats ok. I just dont buy it. I recently had a blessing of our lives. A collection of glassware got separated from the designated boxes to the donation boxes. Upon realization of the oversight, I approached the staff, with explanation andtheir comparison and will for the best outcome. They returned the misdirected box was reunited with the rest of the set.The box of misdirected glass was priced and to be sold to another person.Thank You, My Wife Thanks you.Most blessings.

Comment: Happened to visit on Friday, after Thanksgiving. They were having a half off the entire store sale. Pretty large thrift store with lots of clothing, books and other items. It was fairly busy. We definitely did some shopping and buying. And shopping here supports the rescue of animals.

Lots of good quality items.I do think the shoes are over priced compared to other thrift stores we’ve been to. I found a nice pair of faux fur lined slip on backless loafers for $20.No bargaining allowed (I got the shoes anyway).Always support local, never buy new!

Comment: I was suprised to find such a large thrift store in Brookings. Twice the size of the nice Goodwill in Brookings, clean, large selection of items. I, first thought, why doesnt Medford have one, considering Brookings is much smaller in size and population. I, find Brookings to actually be a boring place to visit, thrives on tourists, yet rude obnoxious people. This, is yet another place to put on your list of places to visit.

Comment: What a great thrift store. Its clean, well arranged and well priced. I came in looking for lamps. This place had many and I appreciated that all their appliances were marked as tested so I knew theyd work.While here I also saw a full set of fiesta ware for $72. What a deal. I didnt check out their clothes but did notice that items were neatly hung and arranged. They also had a juniors clothing section.This is a sweet spot to shop. I definitely recommend stopping by. Plus its for a great cause.

Comment: I used to volunteer here and I can confirm that each clothing item looks almost like new. They got clothes for babies up to the elderly with fine clothes for fancy occasions like prom. They also got maturnity clothes, scrubs, and clothes for teenagers. Theres also a huge selection of VHS tapes, books, DVDs, tested electronics, pet supplies, craft supplies, board games, and eatery ware. I wouldnt recommend them for toys as their selection for those are very small.Their prices are very reasonable. They even have color sales that change around every week. One color means the item of any kind is half off and another color on clothes only means they are only a dollar. With careful shopping, you can take home a lot of clothes for $20; the same price for one shirt bought new anywhere else.All of their earnings go towards the local humane society. That means food, spaying, neutering, and other needed supplies are covered. Thats the main reason to shop here.

Comment: This is my favorite store in Brookings. I find something I can use every time I visit. On Saturday I found a pair of Clarks shoes in almost new condition for $9. Just today I found another pair of Clarks for $8 and they look new. I also found a very nice purse for $6. I have found Ecco shoes for myself and my husband and a The Sak purse. Whenever I need something, for instance, a set of poker chips with rack or some diving flippers I always check SCHSTS first and almost always find it there for a great price. The staff is also great, very friendly, and the best part about it is that the money goes to caring for the animals.
