Comment: Shout out to Danny and Carlos!!! On a whim I stopped by the store to see if I could find a desk Ive been searching for and sure enough, today was the day. My poor little CRV though was not initially up to the task of bringing home this beautiful but big desk. Danny and Carlos were optimists while I remained skeptical, but I should never have doubted them because together they went the extra mile to safely and masterfully load up the desk. This saved me an extra trip back to the store and their good humor and willingness to help genuinely made my day. Look out for these two absolute legends the next time youre here! THANK YOU!!!

Comment: We were in LA on a trip and stopped by just to look around. I found a beautiful blue and white handmade Cathedral Window quilt for a very reasonable price which I couldnt leave behind. As with any thrift store it is hit or miss if you find anything, but this location is very well stocked and all 3 in my family found something to pack home.

I’ve been coming here since I was probably 6 years old and I’m 29 now. My parents put on game with this one lol I love finding so many vintage clothes and home decor. However, the dresser I wanted would have cost $70 to deliver, and they dont go up stairs. Some furniture was a little overpriced for being used. Comment: I started thrifting when I was like 12 and there used to be some amazing places all over the city from Inglewood to Compton. Then they all went away. GW and SA can get really expensive and then the secondhand shops on Melrose, got really expensive over time and then to resell clothes you actually got from a thrift shop they did not want because it was not vintage designer. Well SVDP is amazing!! This is a place that took me back to that time when there where less corporatized thrift shops. This place is huge with so many layers of so many things. Love the discount racks especially. But yes, everything I could every discover, plus old school prices and color tag days. Furniture, books, music, shoes, unique sample clothing that were never in stores. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Found this super oversized jumper that was a 2x. I just took the hem in because I am short and I love how it just hangs off me.

Comment: Ive gotten clothes and shoes in really good condition for my whole family and for a very cheap price you just have to be looking at piece by piece to see if you find something you like. They also have furniture dishes and electronics everything varies from price to condition, everything has a color tag with the price and every day they have a color tag special of 25% off, 50%off or the $1.23 for a piece of clothing. The parking is pretty big and they have a few fitting rooms they have very few carts so if youre lucky youll be able to get a cart.

Comment: This is a pretty historical place for this community, however this place has changed a lot.Now that there are more affluent customers coming into this thrift shop, the prices have been gauged- sky rocketed.There is still some clothes for example, that can still be found for under $10- especially when they have sales, but that selection is small.Jackets, suits, etc are usually well over $20-$40, which doesnt seem fair considering it is second hand clothes, and especially considering that some natives of the community cant afford such prices. I have seen a marc Jacobs jacket here go for over $300. Dresses are usually over $70. Furniture must be bought as a set and is always $100-$600 (goodwill down the street sells couches for $40, but their selection is tiny) Appliances are old and beat up and range from $100-$300. Granted, their inventory is constantly changing now that it is a popular store.Some of the stuff is vintage, but rarely ever.The reason I gave it a 4 star, is bc there are some cool finds here occasionally and because they receive mass seasonal donations from stores/companies and that stuff is sold cheap.

Comment: Ive been coming here since I was a child with my parents. Never thought Id see a good amount of F21 clothes/accessories/other brand clothes which makes me want to come back too many times! The only thing that ticks me off are some clothes are really cute but they write on the clothes with marker, for example the size. Like who does that??????

Comment: If your looking to buy good quality furniture, and your not really trying to break your wallet doing so. You have to check this place out, they have a pretty large selection. Everything from vintage style pieces, to modern style furniture. And they have a rather large section with womens clothing, its definitely larger than the mens section for clothing. So check it out, its certainly worth a look into.

Comment: It is so intresting to go to St. Vincent de Paul, it is like going into your grandparents attic, you see the most interesting furniture, paintings, lamps brick a brack etc . i have picked up a few interesting pices. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend you take the time to go and visit, one thing i must mention, if you have children dont tsje them with you, there are esy too many breakable items

Comment: I LOVE IT HERE! I come often they have the best stuff! Ive gotten so many awesome things from here st Vincent is my go-to for clothes shopping. I love it because everything is in its own category! Im plus size so I love the fact that their plus size clothes are in their own rack, whereas other thrifts have everything together and its annoying to have too look thru skinny clothes to find mine haha and they have a new rewards program so thats cool!

Comment: Easily one of LAs best thrift shops. As of this review, they were receiving brand new and assembled furniture donations from Macys, and had been for several years. I enjoyed discovering the retail price of the fly new desk I purchased after some sleuthing online. And obv they have your usual selection of regular used and donated goods too. Also they have a loading dock and lift to make loading heavy items even easier. They charge more for the brand new stuff than used donations, but it is still a great bargain spot.

Comment: My first time coming here.. it was amazing. I got everything I wanted... and more!!! 😊 I got a 40 inch flat screen Sony vizio t.v. for 50$! And my dresser was a great deal at 39$. I also got a little vanity set it was a little over 100$ ... BUT it was practically new & so much cheaper than what you would pay anywhere else especially for the quality omg... I will NEVER go to another thrift place again after coming here. EVER. you really gotta check it out... its everything I imagined and MORE. Im literally in LOVE with this place. The employees were super helpful and very very attentive, Polite and the best part is there are so many walking around, you dont have to go around searching for them. Theyre literally Everywhere. Its like 3 factories FULL of stuff. Clothes, new shoes FURNITURE exercise equipment literally EVERYTHING you can think of... from televisions and bed frames childrens bikes and clothes, right down to seasonal things, halloween decorations and barbies, books and coach purses. Check it out...

Cheap...like a proper THRIFT shop. bargains on top of discounts on top of seasonal sales and then holiday discounts..on top of ....well u get the gist of it. They have everything from pianos to dumb bells, vinyl albums to wedding ensembles. Furniture from 1818 to 20 inches bmx bikes. I Dig this place&/ could spend a lot of time in there and I dont like shopping

Because it is a big thrift store if u want to find the good stuff u have to go threw each aisle and every clothing. But it is always worth it! As long as I can donate items to their store or shop for the next costume I can utilize for the next themed party that Im going to attend.They are just like any other thrift store, theyre there to provide an alternate way to buy used clothing or furniture and other items. Its a Catholic based organization. Their prices are pretty moderate. The store is pretty clean and organized. It does have a bit of smell and that is normal when you go to thrift stores.I definitely will stop by again to donate more items.
