Comment: Products are categorized properly.For obvious reasons, shoes are sold as is. So make sure you know how to clean and disinfect it if youre planning to buy one. Im not sure if clothes were washed before getting it on the aisles.Most of the electronic items has no labels. And some doesnt have the adapters it comes with. Make sure to check it if it is working or just keep the receipt for returns.This branch has a wide range of items being sold. Parking is hard, I suggest to get a parking at Main street parking garage.Reusable Bags costs $0.10

I come out almost every time with more than I anticipated. The downside is that it’s always packed when I’m able to go on the weekends. Parking is not free on the nearby streets, and is also not very easy.

I picked up five great books for my toddler (and a bunch were half off at 64 cents!), including a potty training book, Madeline, and Rainbow Fish! I also picked up a toddler outfit and a 100% wool long sleeve for myself. Id come here over Goodwill any day. Parking is a pain right now with all of the construction but you can just park at Grocery Outlet a few minutes walk away.

Comment: The employees are incredibly friendly! I found a gorgeous large floor vase that I plan on painting for my home decor. We also found some great books (theres a great book selection), as well as a wooden tray and a smaller vase that were super excited to use.The only thing I would say is try to get a parking spot on the street right in front of the store because theres some people living outside that made me a bit uncomfortable. Also, I feel like this should be a general rule of thumb, but I wouldnt buy electronics here or from any thrift stores in general.

I found treasures there I am still using and displaying today, like a hand painted jar signed by the artist from Spain, and a Coco Joe from Hawaii in the form of a fertility goddess, and much, much more. Prices are incredibly affordable and it is truly a blessing for all the parents that come in there to buy toys and books for their kids and can afford to do so. Redwood City is lucky to have such a considerate service for their residents. And with the Grocery Oulet, one can say we have it all. Those who live here are so lucky and yes we do deserve it.

Comment: Better than the Goodwills in the area. You do have to dig to find treasures and look around in every department because things do get misplaced. Prices (and quality) are reasonable compared to Goodwill. Can save up to 95% off from MSRP. One of my scores were a pair of timeless chocolate brown calfskin Ferragamo womens loafers for $7.99 that were newly re-heeled/re-soled.There are several ways to get discounts: 1) Sign up to become a Savers card member. You will get emails about sales and pre-sale member sales days 2) Donate! You can earn up to a 30% discount for a future purchase 3) There is a color tag of the week sale - 50% off that particular color 4) For every $5 purchase you get a stamp which will eventually earn you 30% off a future purchase 5) Be a senior 55+ or be with a Senior who will purchase for you on Tuesdays and get 30% off total purchase, not including the weekly 50% color tag sale.Parking is street meter, but if you park a couple blocks away in the residential areas, its free with no time limits.Staff is friendly. Has changing rooms. Two floors. Sometimes you do find stuff that has original tags, never been worn or used. Have to come in with an open mind and not have narrow or exact wish list. All the brands that you find at the mall are here. Its amazing what people will donate.

Comment: This is the only place I know that will accept used bedding. I have Anthropologie comforters that I no longer need and it was a pain getting turned away by other thrift stores for quality bedding! The staff was rocking out to some punk band and were pretty enthusiastic about sharing the nonprofit mission that donations and sales contribute to. Ive found a great vintage dresser that I refurbished for $20 here and there is a good selection of kitchen utensils and housewares like baking pans that you can stock up on at the fraction of new.
