Comment: GREAT thrift store. ONE OF THE BEST!You cannot miss this store! This store is one of the stores on my thrift adventure in downtown Petaluma. Its big, well laid out and I have found some great finds. The ladies that work at Sacks are so sweet and helpful and always have a wonderful smile on their faces.

Comment: Sacks is always a treat.The good. Its a hospice store. Supporting a good cause and often their clients donate. I have several pieces of furniture from them. Inventory seems to move well; not weekly well but every 3-4 weeks well.The not so good. Its a cramped store. For health I wish theyd open things up and create greater distancing. Parking is as cramped as the store. If youre doing the Petaluma circuit park in a parking garage then pick up your treasures when youre done.

Comment: These folks are well organized and keep their operation very clean. Their prices are generally pretty good, but sometimes way silly overpriced. Very few people of the lower socio-economic bracket come in anymore since there are no breaks at this place.

Comment: Great people, cheap used stuff. Including a lot of antiques. I actually feel bad not paying enough for some stuff because the money does go to a good cause.I feel alot better giving my donations here than goodwill, because Goodwills money just go into to their greedy hands. Using a front of helping the needy. The help nobody but themselves. Be careful who you donate to. Sometimes they give near nothing. When you think youre doing something good, and who you thought was getting help from you are still suffering.

Comment: Thrift store benefitting Hospice of Petaluma. Wonderful donations, great prices. Some antique/vintage/high value items. Interesting & varied tools, costume jewelry, and specialty items. Charming staff. I always find something I didnt know I needed here.But: small store, narrow aisles, and dicey on-street parking. (Parking garage 1 block away on Keller between Bodega Ave. & Western St.)
