Comment: I truly love my Quartzsite AZ Salvation Army thrift store. We are a small town out in the middle of nowhere, and services are hard to come by. The staff is so very helpful. I’ve been able to borrow a pair of crutches for a month when I couldn’t put any weight on my leg. No charge….just a small refundable deposit. I live full time there and this summer, when it really got hot not only could I get a bottle of cold water when I cam through the door, I was given a summer “survival bag”. It had a huge sun hat, sun screen and lip screen, a couple of bottles of water, a towel to wet and put around my neck, and a mister water bottle. It was so very welcome, as my trailer gets pretty hot in the summer so I was constantly using the towel and misting myself with water. I am so very grateful they are here to help folks out. And every time I really need something, I go into the store and there it is!!! Many blessings are to be had at our local SA thrift shop❤️❤️❤️With much love, Rebecca Marler

Comment: This has been my favorite thrift store in Quartzsite for years. It’s always been clean, organized and has great prices. My husband and I started volunteering there in the summer of 2022 and must say I’m so impressed with the excellent way the store is managed by Lee-Ann and the other volunteers are just wonderful.

Comment: This is a complete blessing to the local community as well as to all of La Paz County.Leann, the Director, goes above and beyond to make this Salvation Army store one of the most well stocked, cleanest, organized and best prices I’ve ever seen in a SA store. The quality of the merchandise is excellent. She is very caring and dedicated to helping others and her pride in what she does shows in how well the store is managed. Her staff are all friendly and very helpful. You MUST stop by if you have never visited this store as you will find many wonderful treasures and great deals.

Comment: Its OK. I was looking for canvas shopping bags, a bigger crackpot, a 2 burner portable electric stove and small pillows. I didnt find any of those.I did find a small Foreman-like grill for $8.00 and a small plastic fan for $2,50.A pretty basic S.A. thrift store.

Comment: I go to the thrift store every day they are open and i usually buy something everytime.I like starting my day off that way. I really dont understand some of the bad reviews. I think some of these bad reviews are from people that dont want to put a mask on and people that think an item is too high priced . I hear that from other customers all the time. I dont personally know any of the volunteers but I do go in the store everyday and have never had any trouble with anybody. this is quartzsites cleanestthrift store and hey...You are donating to help the less fortunate with your purchase.

Comment: I needed a walker with a seat because my dad fell...I called the Salvation Army Thrift store and the lady there said we are close on Mondays but if you want to come by I can get the paperwork and walker ready for you! This place rents out walkers $20.00. The $20.00 us actually a deposit that you get back when you return the item!

Comment: Probably one of the only places in town where masks are still mandatory and for that I am very grateful. Safest I’ve felt anywhere, all the stock is washed or sanitized and well organized. All the people who work there are so sweet and friendly. Prices super fair! Definitely will be back.

There is something for everyone. Be prepared to wait in line to check out though because this place is very popular with the senior citizens here and there are only two clerks.

Comment: Not on Main Street. Its on North Moon Mountain Avenue, just before the Senior Center, on the opposite side of street from Senior Center. If youre on Main Street, look for sign for the food bank and sign for senior center and turn down that street. This thrift store will be on your right.Not much to choose from as far as clothes go, but they have a large selection of craft supplies. Also a rack with lots of greeting cards, and a couple of aisles of housewares.Prices are good. I like this one.
