Comment: Possibly the **best organized** thrift store I’ve ever been in!! Even the electronic cables are hung with care. Bed and bath linens, baby/toddler clothes, scrap materials and notions, potholders, etc all in labeled bins and drawers.Fabulous finds — stereo equipment, backpacks, kitchenware, tripods, curtains, books, along with the usual used clothing (although the jeans will cost you at least $12 apiece — sales are on Saturdays).Extensive glassware and jewelry sections. Friendly staff. Square checkout so credit and debit cards accepted (no checks — too much fraud).

Comment: Excellent at times, staff is volunteer and friendly. I see other reviews that are negative but I have never had a bad experience there. Prices are sometimes thrifty and sometimes thrift-ique (meaning someone has done their homework and assessed an antiques current market value) but, hey, rents at the Boatyard are pretty darned high and a business thats trying to make the rent is just doing busness. Thats just the way it goes. Many thrift stores are availing themselves of the Internet these days. And thats the way THAT goes.

Comment: First: The entrance is via the McDonalds road and into the shopping center through the rear. Its a bit confusing.Second: Closed Sunday. Plan Accordingly. You dont want to miss a visit if it can be helped.I typically find great wardrobe pieces. Not as frequently, home items but when I do theyre really awesome.I see a lot of moms and kids vacation shopping for forgotten items with great success.

Comment: Good prices and a nice selection of items made our recent vacation thrift store outing on a grey and rainy Fort Bragg day a good stop. Located in the Boatyard Shopping Center we combined laundry and a stop at the Harvest Market.Pricing was sometimes hard to find but the staff here was friendly and willing to help determine a fair price and share info the merchandise for sale.
