Comment: Second-hand store where the profits go to benefit, I think for the elderly.I feel like its on another level. Very organized, with very good prices and a wide variety of items. You can find furniture, paintings, clothing, shoes, toys, decorative art and more.I found it by chance but I have already added it to my must-sees periodically.Oh and you can donate things for sale. They receive them from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. but if they fill up, they stop receiving that day so I advise you to go early.

Comment: There was a wait to go in, but its to be expected since their capacity is set at 9. Be prepared to wait at least 5 - 10 minutes if not more. If its cold outside wear a couple extra layers or a thicker jacket. I happen to have an ebook and read that while waiting in line. Store was neatly organized and most items had a price on them. Didnt find anything during this trip to purchase, but it was nice to check out items.

Comment: Great little place. Tends to have a good selection, Ive had some great finds there. I find it cozier and less overwhelming than Goodwill and fun for an impulsive pop-in-and-browse visit. Clerks have always been friendly and welcoming even when its close to closing.

Comment: One of the Best thrift stores around. Great prices, friendly staff and great music. The manager, Debbie is very helpful, accommodating, funny and kind. Shes let me take stuff back as long as I had a receipt. They have some kind of sale almost everyday. This place is worth going and checking out. I give it 3 snaps and a circle. Comment: I always love going to thrift shops; the Hospice Thrift Shoppe on Clayton Road in Concord is one of my favourite thrift shops. Its a good store size; its not a giant store, but its not small either. Youll find plenty of clothes here for young and older women. Not much for men or children though. They have plenty of kitchen items, all sorts. They have plenty of knick-knacks. They also have furniture, some truly nice-looking. They have tons of books and CDs. Also ladies, they have jewelry as well. They do have sales quite frequently, as well as special events such as the Vintage Sale, coming up weekend of 9/15/18.I always enjoy coming in here every Saturday or Sunday. The staff is very friendly, and they always play 50ies, 60ies, and occasionally 70ies music. A fun place to go to, even if youre not buying anything. Dont forget - every purchase you make supports the hospice that they run.One more note - they also have a store in Walnut Creek and Martinez that I occasionally go to. They may also have other stores that Im not aware of. Have fun!
