We bring all our recycles to grey bears and donate what we dont need any more and they resell things at market value. Its a labor of love. Comment: Its a popular used goods and recycling center benefiting the elderly. Lots of people, lots of stuff, very little parking, buildings stuffed to the gills with various goods. Pretty well organized but its like a busy flea market almost every day.Traffic is horrible. People not thinking and parking in the way of others trying to drop off goods, do recycling or just trying to get out. The mix of shoppers and incoming donations has created a nightmare. The two need to be separated but theyre not, creating huge problems for everyone including all the neighbors and passing traffic.

Need inexpensive clothes?Go behind the thrift store where they have their super deals.This is a great place to take your recyclables. Besides E-waste, clothing, they have bins for paper, different color glass, etc--so much better than WW recycling bins.The profit goes back to feeding the elders in the community.One con is that they are so popular that parking can be a problem.

Grey bears thrift store is made up of several different shops; each has its own specialty or set of items. so when you go into one building, dont assume thats all they have. Make sure to explore around where youll find books, games, medical supplies, clothing.As explored, I was pleased to see today was 50% off. It seems theres always some type of special going on. So make sure you go in and enjoy the different options they have.They just changed their hours to be longer, from 9:00 to 3:30. So if you see the updated hours, youll get to stay here even longer.

You can recycle e-waste, metals, appliances, and much more. Please check their website or email them if necessary for your recycling needs. You can attach images to show what you need to recycle, and they quickly reply. Grey Bears makes it possible to keep useful materials out of the landfill while providing valuable services to local seniors.

Comment: This is a great thrift store with many different items. They have at least three separate buildings where you can find everything from antiques to electronics, furniture to books and household items to construction tools. The inventory changes regularly and they have sales to move merchandise regularly.

Comment: The gray bears have been in my family for a while I support them all I can even when theyre cranky sometimes Im a gray bear to and every once in a while I get cranky also go there for the deals because theyre everywhere and have a great electronic store even though its a little overpriced sometimes it still a good deal you can also take almost any kind of recyclable down there and get rid of it, just be kind and put it in the right bin because somebody really has to sort that stuff out and its not right To put your stuff in the wrong bin.

Comment: Computer Store has changed for the better with new, tech savvy, helpful and friendly staff. The former manager and the volunteer mentioned in earlier reviews are gone. Plus, the store is more organized, more items, and a $79 complete desktop sale ongoing. Earlier posts may want to try them again.

Comment: Under new management, new stafff, the center is now a very friendly and warm environment. It was also recently repaved and looks immaculate.
