Comment: I have shopped here for many years and find this to be a good store with mostly friendly, very helpful staff and a nice selection of items, which are well organized. My only complaint would be regarding a rude female employee (shoulder length dark hair, glasses, stocky build) who I have regularly encountered not delivering the same level of service as the rest. If you happen to be there at closing time, youll likely know who she is. The sign indicates that the store closes at 7:00, however at least 30 minutes prior to that she begins dimming the lights, turning off the music and making numerous, rather demanding announcements and informing people as they shop, that they need to discontinue shopping and check out. More than once, at 6:45 or sooner, Ive heard her announcing that the store is now closed. The last time I was there, she had everyone out of the store and the door locked at 6:50 PM. As a former business owner myself, I would want to know if I had employees who were closing up shop early and running people out the door before the posted closing time.

Books and furniture were limited and unimpressive considering the donators in the area. Nice staff but very slow checkout process.

Comment: Because this one is in tony Burlingame, this Goodwill does not have the funky thrift store smell which in my opinion is a good thing. Lots of overstock Target merchandise. Some high end designer - Elizabeth and James silk sleeveless top for $4.49! Clean organized, bright and airy (has high ceilings). Decent amount of housewares, DVDs and CDS. Good size kids clothing, plus overstock clothing. Lots of Motherhood Maternity, Old Navy, Forever 21, Gap, Macys clothing brands, and Banana Republic clothing. Their private parking lot is metered and only 2 dressing rooms for the whole store (minus a star).
