Comment: AMAZING STORE! The lady who works there is SO sweet, the few times i’ve gone she’s been so kind and patient as i ask for the dressing room like 4 times. They seem so have minimal staffing so if it takes a while to help you out at the register or get a room opened this is why! The clothing isn’t exactly sorted by size but rather by type of clothing. The prices are also a tad higher than i would like, but most thrift stores have been doing this so you can’t really isolate a single thrift store for this. Also considering it’s in carlsbad, it makes ir more reasonable. They also sell relatively cheap house plants/propagations which i LOVE! Overall, i love this place and consider it a little hidden gem where i can spend some time for myself :)

Comment: I only spent a couple minutes in here because I just had to drop off some clothes I was donating, but I could tell instantly this place is awesome. They have clothes and lamps and tons of other stuff I probably didn’t even notice. It was kind of weird though because they didn’t have a specific or well labeled place to drop off donations. The lady at the register just said to put my donations next to a dolley that was in the employees only section of the store, which I did, but it felt a little weird. Hopefully someone knows that they are new donations and to put them out for sale!

Comment: Nice condition clothes and miscellaneous for women and men. I needed a black top for a non-profit fundraising event and found exactly what I was looking for, spending under $5. Nice dressing rooms. Staff could not have been more friendly.CRC is conveniently just west of I-5 at Carlsbad Village Drive in the same plaza as 711.

Comment: Nice little thrift shop. Good prices with a different sale nearly every day of the week. My only complaint is it seems like one of their main sources of donations comes from a very large man! All the stuff I really like is XL or XXL and Im a M. I still find some decent stuff though. If youre in the Village its worth a look.

Comment: I had no idea the Carlsbad store existed and is an open, thriving store. I have driven by it 100s of times on Carlsbad Village Drive unaware it was open. I contacted them and now know how to donate nearly new clothing, shoes and similar that I am tired of telling myself to keep--while never ever using--and it using so much space and looking like clutter.Nearly three years ago, I was directed to the Oceanside end of El Camino Real—near Sprouts by a person at the Senior Center. I went to check out where to go in being unfamiliar with the area. Strangers didn’t know where to guide me. Then, I misunderstood and inaccurately believed Carlsbad only works through the private housing organizations for the range of invaluable programs for the homeless people. I only recently learned through a newspaper article this resale store exists.I had also found a nice protected “Donate” box near HR Block at The Shoppes (near the H&R Block). I am so glad I found that Box. It is convenient and well maintained, too. Its good to make it easy to make give away nice stuff that others can benefit from.

Comment: Definitely one of the best thrift stores Ive shopped at, it has such a friendly atmosphere and never had a problem with staff. Always quick to help me find the items I need. The items arent expensive and its better quality goods than other thrift stores around. Will definitely return in the future.

Comment: One of the better thrift stores Ive been to - its very well organized and they offer some really good incentives to keep you coming back. All items are tagged with different colors, and a different color is on sale each week. There are other weekly specials as well, and they have spoton! When you get 10 points you get 50% off one item!. It definitely gets you in the cycle of coming again and again!Ive mostly bought plates and other kitchen items here, but across the board there are some good finds whether it be clothing or some collectors items. They have a wide selection of furniture and some more valuable items behind the counter. Some thrift stores are mostly junk, but the Community Resource Center really does have some treasures!
