Comment: Love this thrift store chain in general. This one usually had a great selection of clothes, dishes, toys, books, shoes furniture etc. From my experience the toys are in working condition and great prices. At times they have had amazing deals on furniture. They always have a good amount of walkers on hand for like 5$ and crutches. One thing I dont like is the rack that is labeled newer clothing. This is a thrift store no need to start upping prices on stuff you had donated to you for free. Just keep the prices low because the previous owners obviously didnt want it.

Sometime they overpriced some of the items and you can you can just throw in there to $3 more and buy a brand new at the store other than that it would not stop me from shopping there it is a good place to shop for if you dont for simple stuff or stuff that you need around the house or backyard

Comment: There are two of these on McHenry in Modesto and they are my two favorite thrift stores in the area. There is always a good selection. Tuesdays and Saturdays are Senior (over 55) discount days with 20% off, Wednesdays a discount for wearing a hat and every day is 10% off for military and veterans. Everything is already well priced. Furniture is often discounted as well as two different color tagged clothing items. If I decide I dont want what I bought, I just give it a wash or shine and donate it the next time. It all goes to a good cause.

Comment: The girl working here are awesome. My mom need adult diapers and pads. Since I live over 80 miles (one way) a way, when I call to get diapers and pads for her they save up enough for it to make the trip worth it. 90-100 pkgs is what I normally pick up and theyll last about 30-45 days.Were always given a discount which just makes it a better deal.Since mom has to pay out of pocket for theses items every little bit we can save is HUGE.

Comment: I picked up a lot of great books at this specific Hospice Thrift store location. I also enjoyed looking at all of the classic vinyl records offered for sale. I once bought a phone circa 1930s for less than $25! One other time, I missed out on buying an authentic looking WWII bomber jacket. This is the 2nd best thrift store in Modesto, CA.
