Comment: Ive been going to all the hope chests in Stanislas & San jaqJoaq districts for over 10 years. Prices have been getting out of control especially for someone who is on a budget trying to save money. Im a big supporter in donation to our local thrift store for years and yes I know the profit goes to research and medical needs. These thrift stores put lets say a mobility scooter out on display with a printed eBay listing showing a model that looks the same for a insane amount. Another thing...Any medical equipment should be cheap like crutches, wheelchairs etc. I paid over a $100 for a wheelchair for my friend who has ms. These thrift stores need to stop making it a botique with high prices.

Comment: They always have deals on top of deals and lots of stuff to look through. I always stop here when Im visiting the town because I love board games and I always find something great! Ive gotten scrabble, trivial pursuit, pictionary, scattergories, and many more games for about $2-$3 each! We have also found poster size cork boards in great condition for $1.

Comment: A+ A+ cant say enough nice things. Over a hundred degrees on Monday, I went at 2Pm the staff so friendly in the heat taking the donations I had. I pulled them out of my shed so I know they were very dirty. I went to the store yesterday and saw some of my stuff washed up beautifully and out for sale. I didnt know it was for Hospice now they will get all my business. The guy who said the clothing was dirty I really cant figure that out everything was so nicely done and smelled great. I bought 3 outfits for work for under $15.00.

Comment: The Hope Chest is great in Oakdale. The pricing is right on I wouldnt mind paying more since it all goes to the care of Hospice Patients. I had to use it in my life and I know how expensive caring for someone who is dying and we didnt have to pay a dime. Thank you to all the staff at the Hope Chest you clean the items put them out for us. I did notice they use EBAY on the more expensive items but it is half the price of sold items on Ebay so way cheaper than anywhere else. You go guys you rock.

Comment: Great store with friendly people. Tends to be a little pricey on the better items and they think Ebay is their price guide. Remember EBAY has millions of customers - You cater to the local public and cant justify that type of price. Please do go the way of the other thrift store that got greedy and ended up closed.
