Comment: Great store and for a great cause! 🐶🐱I went during their plant sale. They didnt have many left over but found two (one on the left and the other on the right). They desperately needed new soil, water, and love. I bought the pot separately for only $2. I put this all together. When you visit you have to see the potential of what the plants could be. Customer service was great. I will definitely be returning!

I have been going there for 3 years now and I have purchase some really nice things. Anything I want to donate to that will sell to help their dogs I donate to them instead of other thrift shops.

Comment: Second Chance Thrift Shop is run by two wonderful people who use the money the store makes to sustain Upland Animal Shelter. So, in short, the money you spend in this thrift shop goes to provide shelter for the City of Uplands stray and or unwanted animals. Any donation, or money spent in this store goes to a wonderful cause, and to my knowledge, Andy and Karen are 100% volunteering their time not only for the store but the Animal Shelter as well. The shop is clean, easily accessible, and filled with a variety of products that are reasonably priced. I encourage everyone to visit and help out the store and shelter.

I dont mind paying whatever they charge, although the have special discounts Monday thru Thursday, as well as daily color tag discounts. Sometimes its hard to find parking, their lot is small and there arent any legal spots within walking distance.

Comment: Quality stuff for reasonable prices. My mom comes here atleast once a week and when ever I am down visiting we come here and loose ourselves in the store lol. I would of gave this store 5 stars but I didnt due to only 1 employee. On 2 occasions she rang my mother and I up and was very short tempered and made us feel like she was superior and we were ignorant. I wont get into details of the situation but she was very rude and I will never forget these both interactions with her because no matter when we come in it seems like she has a chip on her shoulder with everyone. She has a cute short haircut with pink in it. We love this store and everyone else is super sweet and helpful thats why we come back but we just pray Shes not there when we do.
